Keynote Speaker  - Leigh Funderburk

The Georgia Agritourism Association is excited to announce that Leigh Funderburk of Stoney Creek Farm in Franklin, Tennessee will be our Keynote Speaker during the 2018 Georgia Agritourism Annual Conference. Leigh and her husband Olin are the authors of “Dirt Rich: How to Experience More Joy and Less Stress Through Sustainable Farm Living”. The book chronicles their journey after leaving corporate life to start their own sustainable farm, and it serves as a guide for others who might want to take a similar leap.  Leigh will share tips on how to avoid some of the early pitfalls and how to maximize the joys of sustainable living, and enlighten attendees on "What Does it Mean to Be Dirt Rich". We hope you will join us!

Agritourism in Georgia thriving!

Barn doors and roadside fences are open to welcome visitors looking for locally grown foods, seasonal fairs and festivals, farmers markets, wine tastings, guided hunts, breath taking scenery, delicious dishes, authentic gifts, and old-fashioned Southern hospitality! We invite you to share in Georgia’s agricultural bounty and learn more about the farmers, vintners, ranchers and fishermen tending to our lands and waterways. Adventure and homegrown fun await you!

AGRITOURISM is a unique experience that combines traditional agriculture with tourism. The Georgia Agritourism Association is the official voice of this exciting combination.  The Association is an Agritourism Operator led 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation.
